This talk will describe “Project Solidarity,” a binational research and advocacy project designed to support deportee rights organizing in Mexico City and strengthen connections between U.S.-based and Mexico-based organizations. As I present preliminary results from our collaborative multi-year research project on deportation, I will also consider the broader political goals and possibilities of translocal migrant-rights organizing.
