Stories of Mera is a collaborative storytelling project between Baltimore Field School and Mera Kitchen Collective. The stories that will be shared by workers, customers, and neighbors highlight the diverse experience of the individuals that make Mera Kitchen a restaurant/community space. We recognize that the diverse populations of individuals in Baltimore are segregated in various neighborhoods. This collection of audio interviews examines the relationships we build over food and with the community, in which Mera is situated in. What's the role of food in building community?
