AMST Professor Emeritus Ed Orser Led a Walking Tour!
This past Sunday afternoon AMST professor emeritus Ed Orser led a well-attended walking tour of South Baltimore parks. The tour touched on topics central to American studies and illuminated the history of racial segregation in South Baltimore, civil rights struggles at the Riverside park pool, histories of urban planning and public health, and the future of these green community spaces in Baltimore.
